About Me
Hello, I’m Leah Reed.
I’m a communication and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience across sports, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and community-focused organizations. My work centers on clear messaging, brand strategy, digital communication, and helping people and businesses tell their stories with purpose.
My career began with the State Games of Mississippi, where I spent 10 years supporting one of the state’s largest Olympic-style amateur sporting events. During that time, I helped organize Opening and Closing Ceremonies, coordinated statewide marketing efforts, supported sponsor relations, and contributed to athlete communication and event operations.
After State Games, I spent more than six years in pharmaceutical sales with Kowa Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly. These roles strengthened my background in healthcare communication, territory development, provider relationships, and strategic messaging.
I later transitioned into healthcare marketing as the Senior Marketing Director at Total Pain Care, where I worked for more than seven years helping guide the brand across multiple clinic locations. I managed digital strategy, social media, creative direction, patient communication, and provider outreach for East Mississippi and West Alabama.
I’ve also supported small businesses, athletic programs, and community organizations, including helping build Precision Baseball, our family’s training facility. I have recently completed my Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications, focusing on branding, digital content, sports marketing, and creative strategy.
A Little More About Me
I’ve been married to Elton Reed for 25 years. We have three kids:
• Sarah Dudley – sophomore at Mississippi State University, Tri Delta sorority member, and a manager for Lady Bulldog’s Basketball
• Sullivan – junior at Lamar School, committed to Mississippi State Baseball, and the starting quarterback for Lamar
• Sadie – freshman at Lamar, playing basketball, cross country, and track
My family keeps me grounded and motivates the work I do. I value honest communication, consistency, and creating work that actually helps people — whether it’s for a business, an athlete, or a community organization.
